August 11-Travel Day

August 12- Arrive in Dublin, group transfer to hotel with Dublin City Tour enroute to hotel. Visits today will include an overview of the Georgian Squares, the Phoenix Park, St. Patrick's Cathedral and Trinity College.
This afternoon is at your leisure. You'll have the option of starting your hop-on/hop-off adventure today. (Overnight in Dublin)  

August 13-  Today, you have the freedom to create your own itinerary with a Hop On Hop Off bus pass. This bus travels on a route around Dublin city stopping at all the popular tourist sites, allowing you to stop and spend time at each then catch the next bus traveling en route. Optional Dublin Pub Crawl. (Overnight in Dublin) (B)

August 14- Meet with your driver/guide this morning and depart for Cork.Sightseeing en route to Cork will include visits to the Rock of Cashel, where St. Patrick converted the pagan kings of Ireland to Christianity, and Blarney Castle, famous for the stone that bestows the gift of eloquence. Overnight Cork (B)


Aug 15 Cork to Killarney, via Bantry, Glengarriff & Kenmare  A trip via West Cork may allow time to visit Garnish Island by boat from Glengarriff, and affords beautiful scenery as you descend into Killarney in the afternoon. Overnight Killarney (B)


Aug 16 Gap of Dunloe Trip A full day trip taking in a boat ride across the three lakes of Killarney, a jaunting car ride through the Gap of Dunloe, a natural crevice in the mountains created by the Ice Age, and a pleasant lunch stop at Lord Brandon's Cottage. Overnight Killarney (B)

Aug 17 Killarney to Dingle, via Slea Head  Dingle Peninsula visits will include the 5th. century oratory at Gallarus, the ancient church at Kilmakaeder, Inch strand, and Dingle town itself, a lovely fishing port in a Gaelic speaking area. Overnight Dingle (B/D)

Aug 18 Dingle to Galway, via Cliffs of Moher & Burren Heading north today, you will visit the majestic Cliffs of Moher, standing 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean below, the ancient dolmens at Poulnabrone, and the Burren area of County Clare with its moonlike landscape, before reaching Galway, the city of the tribes. Overnight Galway (B)

Aug 19 Connemara tour
Drive to Cong where "The Quiet Man" movie was made in 1952. A guided walk will show you places featured in the production. Travel through Connemara for sweeping views of misty mountains and shimmering lakes. Stop briefly at Kylemore Abbey Visitor Centre before continuing to Clifden, a delightful market town set between the Twelve Pins Mountains and sandy bays. Overnight Galway (B)


Aug 20- Galway to Dublin via Clonmacnoise & Kilbeggan  Give a quick tour around Galway this morning, visiting the Claddagh, famous for its ring of friendship, and the local Cathedral before heading east to Dublin.  Clonmacnoise is a 6th. century monastic settlement sitting on the banks of the Shannon river, before you arrive in Dublin mid afternoon. Enjoy a farewell dinner & optional pub crawl. Overnight Dublin (B/D)
